My case was unique because it happened in Oakland County, MI when I was visiting with an out of state license, took a breath test but refused a chemical test because I didn't understand the requests from the officer. Greg worked with me to be proactive in showing my remorse by attending classes, therapy and obtaining documents showing I was an upstanding citizen that made a bad and costly mistake while dealing with the death of a family member. Based on the facts of the case and the proactive steps I worked with Greg, the outcome of the case was able to be placed on probation, have my license and upon successful completion of probation, get the case DISMISSED. This was a very favorable outcome given how stressed and regretful I was. Thanks again Greg!

I followed his advice exactly as he laid it out to me, and we were able to get the best result I could hope for (I was definitely guilty of the charges against me). Greg follows through on his word. He is easy to get in contact with and he takes time to return emails, texts and calls. No scare tactics. No hidden fees. I highly recommend Greg to anyone looking for a great attorney. If you have some serious charges against you, then need this guy in your corner! Here are a few specifics regarding my case. My criminal history: 2008 Leaving the scene of an accident, 2011 High BAC DUI, 2021 High BAC DUI and Resisting/Obstructing. I was sentenced for the most recent charges in July 2021. The result? Intensive Probation. I didn't go to jail. I didn't get sentenced to sobriety court. I did not have to have an interlock device installed in my car. I did not lose my license. I do not have to submit to weekly random drug screens. Don't get me wrong. I didn't get out of this without some penalties. I have a lot of work to do in order to satisfy the requirements of my probation, but the outcome could have easily resulted in a lengthy jail sentence and much harsher penalties. I hired Greg via OWI charges after an arrest this fall. I have a history with the law and am not from Michigan so I panicked when I knew what punishments could come my way. I had talked to a few attorneys who either seemed to use the panic technique or the everything is going to fine routine. Feeling pressured at first contact and the estimates I received seemed (and turned out to be) absurd. The first time I contacted Greg he picked up right away and began consulting me. He made me aware of all the possible scenarios and how he would go about this if he were me. He did not pressure for hire. He gave he his credentials, told me to continue looking around and call him when I made the choice. A few days later I called again agreeing to attain his services and he began from there promising to make this as inconvenient on my end as possible so I could continue on with my life. I have a history of alcohol problems and decided to go to inpatient treatment for my own reasons while this was going on. I asked him if Michigan would allow me to do this and his response was not as a lawyer but a concerned person. "You need to take care of your self and I'll handle this." He said. How honest he was he kept in touch with my fiance while I was away and set up the pretrial for when I returned and I recently received the absolute best possible result in my case. I just did not like what I heard. They all seemed to just want it to end it as quick as possible and either use scare tactics or say everything is fine. When I contacted him he immediately picked up and began consulting me. He let me know the the possibilities but had a good deameanor about himself. I shopped around talking to many other Lawyers about the situation and to get some insight on what's to come. I have a huge issue trusting people, especially on this type of level as in my career and many other factors are on the line. I was facing serious DUI charges, which if convicted would have seriously turned my life upside down. While I was waiting to be charged he gave me great advice to help mitigate the damages. The advice given must be followed, because it will make all difference once you're in the court room. I don't think I could have asked for a better attorney. I not only was able to get my restricted license, but after another year I was able to get my full unrestricted license. You know you have an excellent attorney when you go to court and the other lawyers around you stand up to shake your lawyer's hand! I went through some very tumultuous family court issues in 2018 and I happy to say that I didn't have to do it alone. When you hire an attorney, there are certain traits that you would look for: knowledgable about the law, easy to contact, willing to help answer any and all questions and mostly, to give sound advice. I don't trust many people, but I ALWAYS did (and still do) what Greg recommended I do. His "way" never fails to be the best way to handle a situation, and it most cases, it ends up with an even better outcome than expected! I tend to be a.. let's say... "passionate" person, and he was always able to calm me down and help me to remember the big picture. It feels like you're "in this" with a family member that genuinely wants the best for you, and in my instance, my children as well. That is invaluable! Even though my events are past, I know that I can always call him. He is the most optimistic person that you will ever meet (sometimes annoyingly so when you're sitting there "ugly crying" in his office), and his positive demeanor seems to make everything better. Greg will tell you to text him or call him anytime and he means it he will return a text or call almost immediately. Greg guided me through my case and prepared me all the way up to the minute we walked in the courtroom and the outcome was a success. Read moreI hired Greg for my 2ns offense DUI IN Oakland County. I had used him for my first offense 4 years prior, and had been very satisfied. The first time around, he had been great ; got me a great deal, kept me in the loop, and made me feel very at ease. After I got my 2nd offense in October of 2012, I hadn't planned on hiring an attorney, until I went for my arraignment, and learned I was facing up to a year in jail. I immediately went home and called Greg, who told me what I was up against, it not being good, especially since the offense was in Oakland County, but assured me he would keep me out of jail. I then went that afternoon with a check in hand and retained him, feeling sooo much better! Things went downhhill from there. I had 3 pre-trials, 2 of which he was late for, 45 min late to one. My assurance of no jail time turned to, you probably will only do a weekend, then, maybe just 10 days or so. I called several times as we neared sentencing, wanting to set up a meeting to review everything we were going to go over with the judge, and did not receive a call back. When I did get him on the phone, he was less than thrilled about my wanting to come into the office, insisting my questions could most likely be answered on the phone. When I did get sentenced, I was ordered to 10 days in jail, at which point he packed up his briefcase, and walked out of court, leaving my husband to literally chase him out of the courtroom, since he had no idea what to do! Greg's response? I'm done. So would I hire him again? Simply put, no.I feel as soon as he cashed my check, I stopped being a priority. Whether I had a case that stood a chance or not, I deserved better. Simply unacceptable.
